The World AIDS Campaign, in conjunction with the African Civil Society Coalition on HIV and AIDS convened a sub-regional Campaigner’s Meeting in eastern Africa from 30 - 31 October 2007, in Nairobi, Kenya.
The sub-regional campaigners meetings linked national campaigners from diverse constituencies including labour, faith, people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHA), youth, women, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other activists for focused discussions on how to enhance campaigning and mobilisation on AIDS promises at the national level.
